Please contact us to pre-register for classes. When you commit to your own yoga schedule, it can be helpful to get you to your mat because you have already committed to yourself, to your yoga practice, to your health. And consistency is where you will see changes in your practice!

What can essential oils do for your yoga practice? We are so fortunate to have nature's living energy in a bottle, right at our fingertips! Both yoga & therapeutic grade essential oils have been known to naturally decrease symptoms of stress. Essential oils can help improve physical strength & mental focus. With various methods of application to choose from, they can enhance breath, movement, meditation & relaxation. They also help cleanse & purify the body. This class combines essential oils, energy exercises and yoga poses and will be themed differently each week. The essential oils are a powerful component in assisting the body to heal & can provide an even more powerful experience when combined with intentional movement. We will also cover the basic guidelines of how to use essential oils.

Beginner Yoga & Weights: Friday @ 11am

This class will offer beginner yoga poses and light weights to support your joint & bone health, increase muscle mass and help you build strength to prevent injuries. It will also offer some basic stretches for major muscle groups that you can learn and take home with you.

Early Bird HIIT

Join us for 45 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training to challenge your strength, endurance and cardiovascular fitness. Work up a great sweat, boost your metabolism and start your day off right with this fast and effective total body workout. This class is for all fitness levels from beginner to advanced. Gratitude Mindfulness Sessions with Gwen

Wednesdays @ 11am (30min)

Enjoy a guided meditation each week focused on gratitude. Gratitude can shift perspective and can help us stay positive especially when we are dealing with difficult situations. What you focus on expands. So take some time to relax & unwind and notice the effects this session has on your body and mind.

Jazz Dance for Kids (Ages 6-9)

This class will teach the basics of rhythm and movement, combinations and group routines. Jazz is a fun way to stay active while developing strength, flexibility, coordination and rhythm.

Kettle Bell Fusion (BYOKB – Bring your own Kettle Bell!)

Mondays @ 7:15-8pm
7 weeks: $84 (no class Sept 3 & Oct 8)

This class includes and mixture of kettle bell and dumbbell work that will improve your full body strength and endurance.  Learn new and challenging movements that you can utilize at home with your new kettle bell. You are also welcome to store your kettle bell at the studio for the duration of the session. When selecting your kettle bell weight, you should factor in your current strength/fitness level:
Beginner: 6 - 8 kg
Intermediate: 10 - 12 kg
Advanced: 14 – 16 kg

Kids Yoga (Ages 4 -6)

Your child will develop focus,strength and flexibility using a variety of breathing techniques, yoga poses and visualization. Classes are theme based and incorporate story, music, games and crafts.

Kids Yoga (Ages 10 - 12)

Join me in a weekly practice of mindful, meaningful movement! Build strength and concentration; develop awareness and balance; stimulate creativity! Theme based classes incorporate yoga poses, mindfulness, games, and partner poses.

Moksha Yoga

This beginner series consists of a standing & floor series. Modifications are offered for those who need it. This class offers a base of consistency so you can progress and get stronger which will then support you to challenge yourself with different practices. Sequencing is key as one posture leads into the next to help open your body safely. This class can help you build a strong foundation from which you will be able to progress, avoiding injury along the way. The sequencing may be similar yet there are always surprises along the way to help challenge those who want it! (Normally, moksha yoga is practiced in a heated room but at our studio we teach moksha-inspired which means we keep it at room temperature or head outside in the summer!)

Relax & Restore Healing Hour with Essential Oils

Restorative/Yin Yoga

The intention of this class is to provide an open and safe space for students to let go of tension and cultivate peace and balance. Poses will be held for longer periods of time to allow the nervous system to thoroughly unwind. There will be use of essential oils that are specifically chosen for their calming, grounding & stress-relieving properties. The human body was not designed to handle being in a state of fight or flight constantly. In order to help the body and mind optimally deal with the challenges of daily life, it is crucial that we cultivate stillness and silence to switch into the parasympathetic nervous system which can give your body time to rest and your mind the space to unwind and let go.

Rise & Shine Yoga

Rise &'s yoga time! What a way to start the day! Take time for self care first thing in the morning. Gently wake up your body with your morning yoga practice including sun salutations for building strength & endurance and poses for balance and flexibility to support the health of your joints. This class is designed to rinse and rejuvenate the body and get it ready for the day ahead, giving you more energy throughout the day!

Step & Strength Fitness Class

Maximize your workout time with a low to moderate intensity cardio step class. This is a low impact choreographed cardio class to challenge your coordination and stamina through a traditional step workout. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Strength & Flexibility

We implement poses to build strength & balance, challenging stamina and cardiovascular endurance. We then transition to the floor where we work on flexibility and core strength along with some restorative poses. The class ends with therapy ball work, essential oil application & of course a relaxing receiving savasana!

Strength & Stretch Yoga Class for Summer Activities: Gardening, Golf & more!

This class theme will run for the summer and offer yoga poses & movements to strengthen the muscles used for gardening and other activities like golf and water sports. We will also focus on stretching areas that may be stiff and strained from repetitive use. This class will give you a chance to reset the body and to prevent injury to your "summer" muscles and joints!

Sunrise Flow & Weights Fusion

Start your day with self care first! Experience what this class will do for you. Enjoy more energy through your day from a class full of breath & movement. Improve your cardiovascular health & balance & increase strength. At the end of class enjoy some bliss out time with a soothing lemongrass towel to help rejuvenate & refresh your body & mind after your practice! If you have to head to work right after class, there are showers available for your convenience!

Teen Yoga for Girls (Ages 13 - 14) 

This class is for our girls! To help them with increasing strength of body and mind, improve flexibility. along with concentration & focus. We will also teach mindfulness techniques so your girls have some tools to help manage any stressors they are experiencing in their life. 

Tiny Dancers (Ages 3-5)

Yoga Nidra/Sleep Meditation with Gwen

Unwind your nervous system. Also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness, Yoga Nidra is intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. We live in a chronically exhausted, overstimulated world. Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of complete relaxation, holistically addressing our physiological & neurological needs. 

Yin Yoga 

Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. A very therapeutic and blissful practice!

Yin Yoga & Essential Oils for Improving Mobility & Joint Health

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time—for beginners, it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one posture for five minutes or more.

Yin yoga poses move gently into the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner silence and allows students to calm their nervous system down.

Improve cardiovascular health & overall strength in this flow class! The class will also include stretches to improve flexibility and you will learn different breathing exercises that you can use as tools to relax your body on or off your yoga mat.

Yoga for Beginners & Light Weights for Bikers & Walkers

This class will offer "movement specific" yoga and light weights to support your joint health and build strength for biking and walking. We will offer a very specific and thorough stretching routine at the end of class that you can take home with you. 

Yoga for Muscle & Joint Pain Relief

Through a variety of yin & restorative yoga postures, massage therapy balls & essential oils used specifically for the relief of muscle & joint tension, you’ll experience increased range of motion & perhaps some pain relief that can be associated with too much muscle & connective tissue tension. We will address tension caused by repetitive daily activities & sports.

Yoga for Stress Relief

This class will include the use of therapy balls. Therapy balls provide targeted self massage trigger point therapy by using specially designed high grip rubber balls and focused movement routines that help penetrate through layers of skin & muscle to massage deeply into your high tension areas. In addition, we will be using yoga poses that will assist in relaxation and decreasing muscle tension at the end of your work week.

Yoga, Therapy Balls & Essential Oils for Summer Sports & Activities

Attention Golfers, Gardeners, Bikers, Sports Enthusiasts!

This is the class for you!
Are you always sore & stiff after your sport or activity? Do you feel like you are losing your flexibility & mobility? Join us for a therapeutic practice that uses intentional movement & targets specific areas in your body to help you decrease muscle tension & increase mobility. Learn more about what happens to our muscles & tissues as we age & what we can do to be preventative and also improve flexibility. As an added benefit, we will be using therapeutic grade essential oils that are approved by Health Canada and are used specifically for muscle tension, strains and rheumatoid arthritis. Join us & discover why this is such a popular practice!

Yoga & Light Weights Fusion

In this class, improve your stamina & endurance while you hold yoga poses and add dynamic movement with small weights to some of the poses. Dynamic movement with a little extra weight will challenge you in different ways! Also, adding weights can increase lean body mass which helps to support your joints, burn more energy throughout the day and increase bone density.

Zumba Gold (low impact)

This class is for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba®class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba®choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong. The benefits of class focuses on all elements of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance!

Fitness Classes

This class will teach you basic alignment and correct form for lifting free weights. There will be a different focus each class on working specific muscle groups (back & biceps, legs, etc).

Join us for 30 minutes of weight training to increase your metabolism, build lean body mass and improve bone density. Then stay afterward for a flow class to rejuvenate and restore your body, letting go of the tension from the day and enjoy some deep relaxation to help your body & mind get ready for a good night's sleep.

Weight Training For Seniors

As we age, we lose muscle mass and bone density. If you are looking to improve your overall strength, maintain or increase your muscle mass and bone density, this is the class for you. You can expect a full body workout that will leave you feeling stronger with the challenge of a different workout every class. You will also learn how to lift weights correctly. This class is for all fitness levels and offers modifications for any limitations or injuries if needed.
