Aroma Yoga: Ignite your Life! Manifest. Transform. Create.

Yoga, Essential Oils & Dreamboarding

This class will consist of using yoga poses & essential oils that are specific to the fire element! Your fire chakra/energy center in the body is all about personal power, change, will & passion.
We will take the energy we have created in class and start our dreamboards and be on our way to manifesting our dreams and what we want to create more of in our lives!

Date: Friday March 3 @ 6:30pm

Cost: $35 ($25 for class & oils. $10 for supplies)
Please bring magazines that you enjoy but are ok to part with!

Trauma is a public health issue of our time. For anyone who works with people, bringing trauma sensitivity into practice is a priority. This three hour introductory professional development workshop is for anyone who works in service to others. Yoga teachers, educators, social workers, pastors, therapists, etc. 

Learn what trauma is and what it does to the body. Explore ways that are simple shifts in language, behaviour and attitude that can create a safe environment for those living with the effects of trauma. 

This workshop will be part discussion, practice and lecture.
Please bring a notebook, pen, yoga mat & waterbottle.

Tiffany Rose is a deeply authentic and highly-trained yoga instructor. She teaches a wide variety of styles and loves to learn. Tiffany has a passion for evidence based practices and how to apply them in real life situations. She has a strong, no-nonsense approach to her teaching with a soft buttery voice to round it out. Tiffany Rose serves as faculty at several Yoga Teacher Training Schools in Alberta and is an assistant in Empowered Yoga’s RYS 200 where she also teaches PTSD Yoga in the Advanced Yoga Teacher Training program at the 500/800/1000 hour level. Her certifications are SOYA ERYT500, TSYT, CAT level 1, 1000
hour Empowered Yoga Therapist in training, PTSD Yoga Educator and Facilitator at Unguru, Owner of Lacombe Yoga.

FITNESS CLASSES (please pre-register)

Fitness with Jessica
Mondays @ 6:30am, 9:15am or 6pm (60min)

At these classes, you can expect to get a full body workout that will touch on all aspects of your fitness including strength, cardio, endurance, flexibility and mobility. These classes cater to all different fitness levels, so whether you are a beginner or an expert you can expect to leave class feeling well worked and accomplished! As an educated, qualified and experienced instructor I can guarantee a safe workout every time. For those of you with injuries or any other issues that may cause you to worry that the class will be too challenging, the movements in these classes can be modified to offer you a safe yet challenging alternative. 
Pre-registered 8 week session starting Monday March 6: $80

Weight Training Class with Jasmin on Tuesdays @ 7:30pm (45min)
This class will teach you basic alignment and correct form for lifting free weights. There will be a different focus each class on working specific muscle groups (back & biceps, legs, etc). 
Pre-registered 8 week session starting Tuesday March 7: $80

Cardio & Function Fitness Class with Kris on Sundays @ 9am (45min)
This well balanced class combines fun cardio moves with functional exercises designed to keep us mobile in our daily activities. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Pre-registered 8 week session starting Sunday March 5
Cost: $72

Yoga & Fitness Combo! 9am Fitness & 10am Gentle Yoga Flow
Take care of your heart with some cardio then give it some more love with a gentle flow class. Clear out the body with movement & breath to get ready for your week ahead & enjoy your yoga bliss & relaxation for the rest of your Sunday!
