Yin Yoga (90min)
Sundays @ 2, 4 or 6pm or
Mondays @ 9:30am or
Thursdays @ 9:30am
Yin Yoga focuses on getting into connective tissue where a lot of tension is held. It targets areas of the lower spine, hips & pelvis as well as tight shoulders and neck. Not only is it our day to day activities that cause tension in the body (sitting at a desk for long periods, driving, high stress environments) but as we age, we begin to lose flexibility as well. So much of this can be prevented by keeping the body moving and having an exercise regime where activity is balanced by rejuvenation.
Beginner Yoga (60min)
Mondays @ 7:15pm
Saturdays @ 8 am or 12pm
A slower paced workshop style class where you will learn safe alignment of each posture. Your structure (how you are build) governs your function (how you move) so in this class you will learn modifications to customize your practice to suit your body. There will be a different theme/focus every week.
